Murray Goulburn Cut Milk Prices, Farmers Feel the Pinch

Australia's largest milk processor Murray Goulburn Co-operative Co trimmed the long-held milk price which it planned to pay farmers, by about fifteen percent. This was the first cut to milk price in a mid-season after the financial crisis hit the globe. The move angered the farmers.

The six finalists for the dubious award were IAG/State Insurance, Apple, Serco, Westpac, Bunnings and Media Works.

Woman dies after bus accident near Rotorua

People had called the emergency services at 7.40pm on Saturday following the accident at the intersection of TeNgae Rd and Coulter Rd at Owhata, on the eastern shore the lake.The Police Serious Crash Unit is now conducting an investigation into the accident. Senior Sergeant Karl Konlechner of the Bay of Plenty District Command Centre said that no additional information is available on the incidence.

Peoria, Illinois based Caterpillar Inc, the maker of machinery and engines said on Thursday that the company will shutter five U. S. plants and trim approximately 820 positions.
The popular construction-equipment maker is cutting back production and employees as a response to continuous drop in demand.
