Samsung introduces 1GHz "iPhone" processor

The new chip that is designed for devices such as iPhone can deliver 2000DMIPS at 1GHz, which makes it one of the fastest processors in the present day world.
Speaking on the topic, Samsung Electronics' Jae Cheol Son said, "The biggest challenge in mobile processor core design and implementation is to achieve high clock speed performance while keeping the power consumption low."

Study by FDA showed that electronic cigarettes contain carcinogens and toxic chemicals such as diethylene glycol. Hence contrary to the established belief these electronic devices are more harmful than standard cigarettes.
NZ Pumpkin Patch to close 20 stores in US; intends opening more stores in Australia

Via a statement, Pumpkin Patch said that this difficult decision has been made by the company, considering the high degree of uncertainty as to how long the current downturn will continue. It today outlined a reorganization plan that it has begun implementing in the United States.

Articles on Wikipedia no longer can be edited by members of Church Scientology

After complaints that the site was being used to promote propaganda, the online encyclopedia's arbitration committee voted to block contributions from computers owned by Scientologists.
The site was already forced to lock entries about the church, which counts Tom Cruise and John Travolta among its celebrity members due to the issues between pro- and anti-Scientology users.
US suit faced by ANZ

If adhered to ANZ spokeswoman, the claim had no foundation and the bank was trying hard to have the claim terminated.
Plaintiff Legacy Solutions has alleged that risk controls of ANZ over its stock lending operations were poor.
