McDonald's has tried many new ways to gain back its customers. This time its Gilroy garlic fries.

On Thursday, Marcos José Gomes Correa, a federal prosecutor opened a criminal investigation looking into "fiscal and economic crimes" which McDonald's and Arcos Dorados Holdings, its Latin American master franchise owner might have been engaged in. The prosecutor says that, they along with some related entities may have failed to fulfill Brazil's tax and other laws. There might have been additional violations of the country's franchise laws too.

Miami based Burger King it planning to add hot dogs on its menu in all outlets across the nation starting from February 23. The first time addition of hot dogs may appear to be a strange one for those who know the food chain for its Whoppers. However, Burger King says its flame-grill meat making ability makes hot dogs fit its menu well with ease.

After the trial of its all day breakfast, now McDonald's is testing something new; this time, its macaroni and cheese.
