According to a new study, the long-term survivors of traumatic brain injury have high number of amyloid-ß (Aß) plaques if they develop brain issues, which is a mark of Alzheimer's disease.
CDC: Seven Employees of Oregon Zoo Contracted Tuberculosis from Three Elephants

According to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), seven employees of an Oregon zoo contracted tuberculosis from three elephants in their care in 2013. Despite of being contracted with the disease, the staff members at the Oregon Zoo in Portland displayed no symptoms and were not contagious because the diseases was in latent form of the respiratory illness.

43% Dip in US Preschoolers’ Obesity Rate, reveals CDC Data

As per the CDC, a decline has also been witnessed in obesity rates for young children included in the federal nutrition plans. It has happened for the first time that decline in both the categories has been witnessed in decades.
