Brits can now access live streaming and on-demand content from more than one hundred different radio stations over the Internet, thanks to the launch of UK Radioplayer.
Radioplayer is the result of partnership between the BBC's radio department and the UK's national as well as local radio broadcasters such as GMG, Blobal, UTV Radio and Bauer Media.
New York Times starts charging for online content

Online readers of the New York Times will now have to pay to have full access to the publication, which finally wrapped its online content with a paywall. Starting 2pm EDT, Monday, readers can access a maximum of 20 articles per month for free. Afterwards, they are asked to wait until next month or to sign up for the digital subscription.

California based UberMedia has reportedly agreed to acquire micro-blogging service Twitter desktop client TweetDeck in a deal worth $30 million (£19 million), a report published in the Financial Times claims.
