March Unemployment Rate in Hawaii at 3.1 Percent

In March, the jobless rate in Hawaii continued at 3.1 percent although a greater number of people joined the workforce in the state.
The nonfarm jobs In March grew by 4,400 to 653,000 in total in comparison to February's 648,600. When compared to last year, same time it scaled by 18,600, or 2.9 percent showed a data released by the state's Department of Labor and Industrial Relations.

The founder and managing director of the telecommunications company TeamTalk, David Ware has announced that he is stepping down from the top job because of health reasons.
Ware, who founded the company more than 20 years earlier, said that he has suffering from huge stress with poor health running three companies. He admitted that his behaviour had been sub-optimal with the staff and said that he is aware that staff members had complained about him in work place.

On Thursday, MidAmerican Energy took a huge leap towards meeting the power needs of its customers with greener energy like wind and solar power. It announced investment of $3.6 billion with which Des Moines, Iowa's largest utility, MidAmerican would get eighty five percent of its energy from wind. At the event the company's CEO Bill Fehrman was present with Governor Terry Branstad and Debi Durham, Iowa's economic development director.
Fehrman said, "We have a dream to deliver 100 percent renewable energy to our customers."

San Francisco, California based TaskRabbit, named Stacy Brown-Philpot as its new CEO. Stacy Brown who was the company's COO, will take the post from founder Leah Busque.
Leah Busque will now be the errand and personal services platform's executive chairwoman.
