At the New York Auto Show 2014, bigwig US automaker Ford announced that it will manufacture a special limited-edition Mustang GT model to commemorate the 50th birth anniversary of the Mustang.

According to the announcement, Ford will manufacture 1,964 units of a factory authentic 50th anniversary limited-edition Mustang GT.
